What do you think about your goal

6 tips to increase your self-motivation!

Difficulties are a normal part of life and we all have to deal with them on a daily or weekly basis and at times these problems seem very difficult to overcome. If you can change your attitude towards these "problems" and view them as "challenges" then you are halfway to increased self-motivation.

What is a challenge?

A challenge in life is a chance to learn and improve yourself by overcoming everything on the path to success. Think of her like a ladder, at which point your goal is. You have to climb the ladder with energy, with the belief that you can reach the top. On the way up, you will face different challenges (each rung of the ladder) that you will have to overcome in order to reach your goal. If you stop or fall, you will not achieve your goal. Your self-motivation always helps you keep going. Focusing on your goal rather than the obstacles and difficulty of the climb will keep you motivated.

Imagine what you will have learned by the time you reach the top. How will your life have improved? How will you feel when you succeed?

The next step is to understand that you will win by overcoming your challenges. They are not there to defeat you, but to help you learn and get stronger. Your self-motivation increases as you get closer to your goal and it decreases as you move further away from it or think that you cannot succeed. Always stay focused on the goal and only on what you really want. Try to imagine what it will be like when you get there.

Another very important change in your thoughts happens when you enjoy the challenges or the journey to your destination. Steps along the way can be small and pleasant if you take them this way. Your self-motivation will also increase when you reward yourself for successfully completing a milestone.

6 tips to increase your self-motivation

Here are some tips to be effective and to increase your self-motivation:

1. Have a goal.

There is no stronger source of motivation than a specific goal that you are passionate about. A goal can inspire you to do your best even in the face of difficulties. It can make you do the seemingly impossible things. While other causes might excite you temporarily, a goal that is important to you can excite you indefinitely. It is a source of self-motivation that will never fade. Whenever you think that your motivation is dropping, you can focus on your goal again and again to get a new dose of self-motivation.

2. Have a dream. A big dream.

Your goal is a strong source of self-motivation, but it's still abstract in nature. You have to specifically transform it into the shape of a dream. Imagine what the world will be like in the future. Imagine how people will live and work. Having a dream is important because it's hard to be motivated when you have nothing to strive for. Just think of people who play basketball. Would you be motivated to play if there wasn't a basket? You need a goal. You need a goal. That's why you need a dream! But only a dream is insufficient. Your dream has to be big enough to inspire you. It has to be realistic, but challenging. It has to stretch your skills beyond your comfort zone.

3. Be hungry

“Wanting something is not enough. You must be hungry for it. Your motivation must be absolutely convincing in order to overcome the obstacles that will inevitably come on your way. "Les Brown

To be truly motivated, you have to be hungry, not just wish. If you just feel like it, this won't get you through difficult times as you don't want it strong enough. In many cases, hunger is what makes the difference between the best and the mediocre. How can you be hungry Your goal and your dream play a big role here. If you have a cause that you care about and a big dream is related to it, you should have the hunger inside you. If you think you are going to lose hunger, all you have to do is focus on your goal and dream again. Let them inspire you and bring back hunger.
