Verifiability difficult in practice

In practice, however, it can hardly be proven whether the rejection was ultimately due to the embarrassing party photos on the Internet or the professional qualifications.
In this case, the Federal Data Protection Act usually only provides formal protection.
Employees should therefore pay attention to what information they share with others on the Internet.
It is always advisable to set the profiles in the social networks to private. So the potential employer has no access to photos and other information.
However, employees should also note that in some networks, such as Facebook, the profile picture is still visible.
Again, employees shouldn't necessarily choose a party photo from their last bachelorette party.
