Webinar: Start-Up Ecosystem in India

As a startup and India enthusiast, I am extremely pleased that the Foreign Trade Center New Delhi is now actively taking up the topic of “Digital India” and giving Austrian startups and established digital companies an insight into what is probably the most dynamic innovation ecosystem in the world.

India is the third most important start-up destination in the entire world

Worldwide, India is the third largest start-up destination with more than 10,000 tech start-ups and 25 innovation centers - only the USA and UK are ahead here. The market for Indian technology start-ups is now estimated at USD 32 billion. In the last year alone, more than 5,000 tech start-ups were founded, of which more than 700 are “advanced tech start-ups” with a main focus on analytics, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things.

Trends in the boom areas of fin-tech & e-commerce

That is why AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA organizes on 09 September 2019 a webinar on the topic "Latest developments in the Indian start-up ecosystem".

Take the chance and get a unique insight into the exciting developments of the last few years, the status quo and an insight into the trends and future of the Indian start-up scene through this webinar. Successful start-ups from the booming fin-tech and e-commerce sectors will introduce you to the highly interesting subject. Be there!

My Indian startup story

I had the pleasure of working for an Indian startup myself in 2011 and 2012. YourStory Media Pvt Ltd has been a “curator” of the Indian startup scene with well-known investors (including Ratan Tata) since its foundation in the Indian ecosystem. I still regularly attend their events in Bangalore and work closely with selected startups and agencies.

On the hype topic e-commerce I was allowed to publish an article in the current issue of ASIA-BRIDGE.
