3 | What are your strengths?

In addition, only focus on what is really important to the job.

answer: I like to work in a team. I enjoy working with different personalities and complementing each other, even if you don't always agree. In an activity in the student council, I took on the role of mediator and recognized and resolved conflicts at an early stage.

4 | Where do you see your weaknesses?

When asked about the strengths, the question about the weaknesses is obvious and is just as popular. With this question, the HR managers want to find out whether you are self-critical and can deal with weaknesses openly and honestly. In this case, being honest does not mean that you explain all of your vices and inadequacies extravagantly, but rather show that you are aware of your weaknesses and how you deal with them.

answer: I feel good in small groups and can convince. But sometimes I find it difficult to speak in front of a large crowd because I don't like to be the center of attention. But I have noticed that it helps me when I face the situation and see that my worries are actually unfounded. I am now working on appearing more self-confidently in a large group.

5 | Where do you see yourself in ten years?

You can try your hand at fortune telling, but usually nobody can predict exactly what will be in five years, let alone ten years. It is also not about giving precise details about your future. When you start your career, you probably want to gain a foothold in the professional world and are not yet concerned about what will come after your first job. In your answer, however, you should show that you have thought about your planned career and your personal development. With your answer you can show your motivation and that you will stay with the company in the long term if the framework conditions are right.

6 | What do you think of your last employer?

If you have already gained a little work experience, you may well be asked this question. Even if you were very dissatisfied with your former boss or the bad work atmosphere caused you to quit, you should never complain about a former employer. Much more, you should focus on the positive sides.
