How was VW caught

VW: Caught! First photos of the new Polo appeared

Wolfsburg. Caught! Now the first facelift photos of the VW Polo surfaced on the internet. He is camouflaged, but some details can be seen.

The photos are quite interesting - because after the facelift it looks similar VW Polo to a brother from the Volkswagen plant.

VW Polo is similar to the Golf 8

For the first time in four years, VW wants to freshen up the Polo. And the VW Polo looks a bit like the VW Golf 8.

This is VW:

  • Volkswagen AG was founded in 1937
  • The group also includes the brands Audi, Seat, Skoda, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Porsche
  • In 2018, the Wolfsburg-based company produced around 40 models under the Volkswagen name
  • In 2019, around 22 percent of all new registrations were cars from VW

One of the reasons for this is the curved headlights. The open front apron is also similar to the Golf because of the curved clasps. For the first time, the Polo taillights are divided into two parts - like on the Golf. The rear apron should also be changed.

VW could offer mild hybrid drive

VW may also offer a mild hybrid drive for the Polo to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

"Auto Bild" suspects that much of the interior of the VW Polo, which was launched for the first time in four years, will remain the same. There are no photos of this yet. The central display is likely to be a bit larger - and a digital cockpit is only available for an extra charge.
