What are the criticisms of NAM

Traveled as a couple in July 2019 for 2 weeks

Perfect - zero points of criticism found

Even if we had searched, we did not find a point of criticism for this hotel and can therefore recommend it unreservedly. It is located on the fine sandy beach of Da Nang with a view of the mountains, the big city of Da Nang and conveys wonderful tranquility because it is a little secluded from the hustle and bustle. It is a hotel for relaxation, which is also ideal as a starting point for numerous activities in Central Vietnam. We had a premium ocean view room with all inclusive. Of course, the clear view of the sea and watching the sunrise from your bed was the first highlight in the morning.

The hotel is a twenty-minute drive from the airport. It is located in a very large park and of course directly on the sandy beach, without stones, gently sloping. After the breakfast buffet we mainly spent the time at the pool, right on the beach. We always asked ourselves: Where are the many guests who were still present at breakfast? Almost every time of the day there were free loungers by the pool, there was no scramble for a shady spot. But the beach chairs (very well shielded with huge umbrellas) or the chairs at the second pool near the main restaurant were not very busy. The hotel offers excursions and two shuttle services, one to Da Nang City and one to Hoi An. We drove to Hoi An twice, which is of course a fantastic travel destination, very romantic with the many lanterns that not only shine in the city and bathe the beautiful houses and markets in a magical light, but that are also mounted on the boats, which give the river its very own flair. We visited Ba Na Hills and Hue on a private tour (tours to these two destinations are also offered by the hotel). Once we drove to Da Nang City, at dusk you can either start a boat tour from opposite the Cham Museum or experience the two bridges and the evening atmosphere with a walk.

We slept very well, the beds were good, the room was very spacious and functional. It was big and was also well looked after. We got two bottles of water every day, the air conditioning worked perfectly. There were also two toe separator sandals and two bathrobes, but not quite suitable for our size. Of course there is also a hair dryer, skin care products and room service.

At this point, I really like to pay tribute to the service and the truly phenomenal hospitality. It would be unfair to list individual outstanding people such as Quynh from guest relations or Minh from the hotel bar, because they were all nice, friendly and courteous. We have to sum up: We didn't tip so that we got great service, but because we were so satisfied and because we noticed that the tip was never the mainspring for friendliness and hospitality. In the reception we were not only well looked after, but also asked by phone whether everything was OK, including the air conditioning. When I was clumsy programming the safe, an employee was on site within a few minutes to solve the problem. We ate at the pool bar and in the main restaurant: They always responded to our needs, were quick and friendly. Also at the pool: towel service 1a. You can change money in the hotel, the rate is good. However, they don't exchange anything back into euros, you have to do that at the airport.

We had all inclusive and were a bit exotic, at the beginning the hotel employees also had to ask how to deal with all inclusive. We could eat a la carte in the evening, both Western and Vietnamese, or we were given set menus, i.e. selected menu suggestions. There was no buffet - with the exception of the breakfast buffet. To start right away at breakfast. Crossover between west and east breakfast. A row with fruits and cereals, a row with vegetables. There were a lot of Vietnamese specialties to see, but also waffles, excellent cheese, salami, ham, different types of bread and pastries, butter, different types of jam. Heart, what do you want more! Of course there are also egg cooks who prepare the breakfast egg according to individual wishes. The coffee, a filter coffee, wasn't bad either. If you wanted, you could also try original Vietnamese coffee.
We always ate lunch in the pool restaurant. The menu there includes not only different pizzas, but also salads, burgers, sandwiches and Vietnamese dishes. In the evening great creations and extensive menus. If you didn't like one or the other partial dish, you always got enough and good food. Since it was extremely hot (with high humidity) we sweated a lot and were also happy to get hold of a fan or an air conditioner while eating, which illuminated us and made the heat a little more bearable.

Sports & entertainment6.0
The gym looked very nice but we didn't use it. The table with the animation program was also quite dignified, the palette ranged from yoga twice a day to games, there was also a children's program, obviously very solid but unobtrusive.
